[net.games.emp] differences in the new empire

We have been running the new empire (4/84) for about a month now. What
follows are some differences between the earlier version and the new
version:

There are NO Trade Sectors. A country, however, can set the price
for a ship and another country can buy it, but that is it.

There is NO defend command. Because of this, the "%" field on
the census report is no longer present.

I was told, but have not verified/noticed, that when contracting
products for money, only %50 of the supply is sold at one update.

Happiness has a purpose. The lower Happiness rating, the lower
	the enlistment rate.

A new command Nuke that gives a report of all the nuclear devices
	in a given sector.

To generate a up-to-date power report, you need to use the command
"power new" which takes about 10 BTU's. The "power" command, by
it self, well only give you the last generated power report.

	There are now eight realms.

Ships now cost money to build. The range is $270 (patrol boat) to
	$1170 (yacht).

I do not know if the fly command bug is fixed in this version. No one
in the empire is at that point yet.

If you have other questions, let me know and I'll try to answer them.

Another difference has been pointed out to me (thanx Bruce). When
attacking sectors, if the attacker wins, the mobility of the new
sector is set to zero (0). Makes it hard to take over a country.

P.S.	Overall, it looks like this version is much closer to the real
world than the previous version was.
