It is very easy to make lots of money in Empire. The definitve way is to contract LOTS of agribusinesses for high prices. Have delivery routes move out as much food as possible before you sell (that feeds your nation). Oh, the put maximum number of people in each of these sectors. You*have* to get money before you can do any serious developing of your country (you'll go broke first). People soon get more money than they know how to deal with when they use this strategy.

Agribusiness are the best way of making money. What you do is set up more agribusinesses than you possibly need (easy to do), then contract the food to the Deity. Every time you do an update, you will have more money. Since food is a renewable resource, the money just keeps growing - literally! I should know - in just two months, my country has over 2 million dollars! --Lynn
