A couple of days ago, several of us Empire players went out to lunch after one of us had been nuked eight times. We got into the car, the car "dinged," and the radio came on. A voice said the following: "Countdown! Five! Four! Three! Two! One!" The radio program, a talk show, continued... "In order to build up a country, you need technology and research." If THIS wasn't enough, the speaker went on to talk about "empiricism!" Empire...the computer game from which there is no escape! --Lynn
