[Nuke nuke nuke, nuke of earl nuke nuke, nuke of earl, nuke nuke....]
In the newest and greatest version of empire, there is a bug which can
give you a lot of gold.
On a Friday, I turned all my ag sectors to gold mines thinking that when I
came back on Monday the gold would have all been mined and I could then
turn them back into ag sectors. I would only lose one update of ag
produce (a small price to pay for gold).
Anyway, when I came back and did the update, I had much more gold than I
thought I would have. In fact, a number of the mines claimed to have
produced more gold than was possible. Also, a number of the mines showed
no decrease in the gold content after the update. I ended up with
somewhere around 47K dust and could have produced still more. However,
our God, Asgard, didn't like this bug and told me not to do it again. I
ended up dumping a 100meg nuke on him and destroying most of the world at
the same time. What a way to end a game.
Anyway, I would be curious to note if this bug is in earlier versions of
empire.
