Here's some useful information if you make heavy use of empire's command syntax. Delivery directions can be expressed as numbers. This is useful if you want to set up, say, oil delivery routes that exactly match existing dust delivery routes. Delivery directions Corresponding value y u 6 1 g j 5 2 b n 4 3 So to do the above example over realm 3, one would enter six commands: deliver oil #3 ?d_del=1 Deliver oil from capital at 0,0 in what direction? u and answer 'u' until command finishes. Then: deliver oil #3 ?d_del=2, answer 'j', and so on. Also: prices seem to be reflected as /2. for example: contract food 0,0 yes POGO offers $3.12 per unit of food in 0,0. accepted. census 0,0 ?f_p=155 0 sectors census 0,0 ?f_p=156 0,0 c 100% 127 ..$ ... 999 999 999 56 34 65 32 etc.. 1 sector this may vary from system to system and between commodities. [This line may or may not disappear ... (so what?)] Does anyone have a copy of the EMP sources/binaries needed to put the games up on a 4.2BSD system? Thanks, Lionel G. Lynch (...!cbosgd!lgl)
