Is there a version of new Empire for SysVr2? We have this terribly old version
here (no food, nothing) and we'd like to upgrade, so to speak. Our UNIX is
on a Vax 11/785. For that matter - is there (I doubt it) a version that will
run on a Vax 8650 with VMS?? (UNIX doesn't run on an 8650) I know it's a tall
order, but I guess I can be hopeful. Now, if only they would come out with UNIX
for the 8650... (THAT's really asking too much!)

If somebody gives me (or my lab) a VAX that, for some reason, we can't run anything else on, I'll be glad to recompile a SysV Empire. > is there (I doubt it) a version that will > run on a Vax 8650 with VMS?? (UNIX doesn't run on an 8650) There's no VMS version of this Empire, but Ultrix runs on the 8600s and, unless I miss my guess, BSD 4.3 will, too. If people are hot for an 8600 Ultrix Empire, let me know. p.s. Vince, can't you talk them into getting you a real UNIX? I thought I had it bad because I can't get 8th Edition on the 8600...
