I am currently doing research on simple Petri nets. I have found very
little in the literature about this subclass. Is anyone currently doing
research in this area? Does anyone know of (fairly recent or obscure) papers
on the theory or applications of simple Petri nets?
(FYI: A simple Petri net is one in which each transition has at most one
input place shared with another transition, thus restricting the manner in
which conflicts can occur.)
