I'm trying to write a paper tracing the history of "voice mail" systems and vaguely recall some work done in the '70's on ARPAnet (ARPA Speech Project?) but can't seem to track down any references (except for a few semi-annual reports from Lincoln Labs complaining about memory errors on the TX-2.)
