The other week when the Telco person was out to install my MIT Centrex line he dialed 200 225-1111 to get back a voice identification of my number. (There were two lines and he wanted to know which was which.) What's with "200"? Is this a universal new system for calling up CO machinery? Or is it MIT-specific or Cambridge-specific? The last time I was paying attention to such things, it used to be xxx-99xx. I'm not a subscriber to the newsgroup so please reply directly. Thanks in advance...
