I have a beta and use almost exclusivly the 750 tapes, although I also have one 250 and four 850 tapes. I notice no quality difference in tape thickness etc between the 250 and the 750 tapes of the same brand. The may be some difference with the 850 as one of the five we bought of that showed problems. When you go to beta 3 or to 850's, the real degradation (color streaking, etc) begins. Many movies are slightly over 2 hours, so L-750's are really mandatory. Stuart
