Yesterday the Utah legislature overrode a veto by the governor on the CATV bluenose law. A number of groups have already filed suit in a federal court to have the law declared unconstitutional; by a stroke of fate, the case was assigned to the same judge who recently overturned a similar law in a Utah town. Until the law is changed the CATV operators, who are plaintiffs in the suit, have said that they will simply remove the movie channels altogether from their systems rather than attempt to edit them.
