The access time of the player (drive) must be to blame,
although a 1 second delay seems to be quite good for a
worst case situation.
	Consumer players are far slower than industrial
machines when it comes to access times. (3 seconds
for industrial vs 20 for consumer).
	They could try building a drive that reads both
sides simultaneously, thereby having more paths available
to them, or perhaps a frame store might prove cheaper
than a second drive.
	Eventually, they might try letting a computer do the
"In betweening" right inside the game, thus giving the
drive more leeway before requiring a new frame.
