[net.video] Problems with JVC VCR?

I've been having intermittent recording "blips" on my new
JVC 7100U VCR.  JVC says I need a new motor, and I have to
pay $100 for labor because the warranty's expired -- even
though I originally brought the unit in under warranty, and
they never fixed it.  I'm fighting it out with them.

You can help.  If you own a JVC VCR (any model) and have had
any recording or motor problems, I'd appreciate hearing
from you.  Please tell me (1) what the problem was, and
(2) your name and phone number, in case I need to call.
