[net.video] You can't have your LaserVision and play it too?

Does anybody know of a place that rents LaserVision discs?
They cost >$30 each and I can't afford to buy them.

I would also be interested in a store that sells them used. I
would like to find some alternative to buying them, and I don't
know anybody who owns a LaserVision player so that I could share.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Long Island, Westchester county, and NYC locations would be
convenient (Especially Queens county).

While I am interested in renting laser discs, I do not own an LV player.
My employer had a program involving refinements on LV players, and hence
there are several players scattered throughout the building, one of which
I borrow from time to time. It therefore does not pay for me to purchase
a disc.

I do have an answer to my own question. New York Video on Lexington
Ave. between 57 and 58 streets does rent laser discs. It is not very
convenient, but it is the only place I know of that rents.

I am interested in any titles that have strong special effects.
