A recent article by a Beta owner alleges that the various VHS audio
formats are incompatible with one another. This statement is
absolutely false.
I own a VHS (HiFi) machine and am considering the purchase of a Beta
machine to augment my system, so I am interested in hearing reasons
why I should own a Beta also. However, the appearance of statements
like that mentioned above leads me to wonder how many of the
technical statements (not to mention subjective opinions) made in
this newsgroup are outright falsehood -- inspired by either axe-grinding
or ignorance.
