Does anyone know of a device which can convert an RGB input to a monitor into video input, say for instanc for input into a VCR. I don't know a lot about lectronics, but it seems to me that this would be a popular item with the profusion of personal computrs, monitors, etc. I couldn't find such a device at Radio Shack. Pointers by mail would be greatly appreciated. I'll summarize on the net if response warrants. Thanks in advance.

If you monitors use relatively standard RS-170/RS-343 signals there exists a product called the NTSC-1 that will convert RGB to NTSC. Remember that you can only reasonably do 512 line video signals although the output of your Trash80 will probably not exceed the capability. The company that makes it is Via Video of Silicon Valley. There was another NTSC converter that the people at JHU had on free trial but it didn't stack up, so I can't remember what it was. -Ron
