For those of you who still need an excuse to avoid buying the current line of Beta-HiFi machines, be warned that the so-called Super-Beta machines will supposedly be available around December. In addition to the HiFi features with which we are already familiar, the new machines should offer a 20% increase in video bandwith and overall picture quality. At this time, it appears that VHS will be very hard-pressed to follow, since their format probably won't allow them to pull the same trick that Sony is using to pick up the 20%. --Lauren--
