Most well known brands are fine. The problem is what options
do you want. The following list might clarify that for you:
OPTION ADVANTAGE DISADVANTAGE
1. Auto Focus Smooth focus transition Unit gets confused
2. Low Light Low Light Color Quality Suffers
3. Graphics Professional Results extra $$
		Fun
4. Fade Out/In Professional Results extra $$
		Fun
5. Stereo Mike Sounds Good extra $$
6. Small Size Easy to carry/hold	quality suffers/not as
w/small tape much time on a tape.

This is all true, but I have a preference for Hitachi Cameras. Their
Saticon tube cameras have excellent image quality, even though they
tend to be larger than most other cameras. Very rugged.
Also, the JVC Saticon cameras with the switchable sensitivity setting
is good for indoor available light work.

Both VERY good.

(Don't every buy a camera with a Nuvicon tube in it!)

Is someone telling me that, because I bought a low-light camera (10 lux, I
think they called it), my colors are not as good, even in adequate light?

Why not? What characteristics do they have, and what advantages/disadvantages
do they have?

Ok, the (previous) advantage of Nuvicon tubes over Saticon tubes
were that they were much more sensitive. The bad part is that they
are a magnitude worse when it comes to sawtooth patterns along
high-contrast straight edges. If you are able to, try zooming in
on a sign or poster with large block lettering. Now, look at the
trailing edge of a character. With the Nuvicon tube, there is a
distinct sawtooth pattern visible along one edge. The Saticon tubes
don't. Saticon tubes are now as sensitive as the older Nuvicon
cameras and are generally used more often in the consumer camera
market.
