[net.video] MTS VCR Question

pjk@hou2a.UUCP (P.KEMP) (08/13/85)

Is there an MTS equipped VCR made now (or to be
marketed soon) that can broadcast an MTS signal
to a TV set (on channel 3/4)?

If not, is it because the RF modulator required
would be too complicated/expensive?

Is any company making a chip set for an MTS RF
modulator or an add-on RF modulator (with composite
NTSC video and stereo/SAP audio inputs)?

[I know, I sure ask a lot of questions for someone
from New Jersey :-)]

RCA and other companies sell a box that plugs into a VCR
 which decodes MTS.
