Hello to All You Wonderful Helpful People in Net Land Have any of you ever considered the possibilities of using the nroff and/or troff for creation of film/video scripts? Perhaps some of you may actually be using such a format. I would be interested in any approaches you may be using to create industrial style film/video scripts, i.e. double column. There seems to be some script formatting programs in the CP/M and MSDOS areas. We are currently committed to the UNIX system, however I would be interested in programs working under MSDOS for personal and future use. The formatting requirements are that the scene description and narration be tied together, although they are in separate columns, no page break within scenes, automatic scene numbering and other cutzie features. It is optional if the scene description is in the left or right column. Film scripts usually have the scene described on the left and the video custom is to place video on the right. Naturally it would be nice if the procedure were relatively easy so that the creative process would be unimpeded. Please respond as you see fit, if there is a lot of Email response I will summarize to net.text. Peace Stan Follis follis@nosc.UUCP (AV 933-7741 619-225-7741)
