Thursday I noticed at the supermarket a rack fullof VHS videotapes for $8-15, including NEW FACES (the film of "New Faces of 52", with Ertha Kitt --a movie I would have cheerfully paid up to $40 for). No, I'm not complaining about getting it cheap. But I do wish I had access to a complete catalog of videotapes available on VHS so I could order some more favorite films that haven't been popular for newspapers to announce they're out or videostores to announce they're being sold. Does anyone out there have access to such a catalog? Can you tell me if "Sergeants Three" is out on videotape yet? What about Olivier's "Henry V"? The old movies of "The Mikado" and "The Importance of Being Ernest"? I've got a friend who'd pay up to $150 for Chushingura (the one with Mifune) subtitled. By the way, has the legal and/or moral question of dubbing stuff taped at home off the TV and charging only for the videotape been settled yet? How about lending videotapes? Many thanks for your answers. --Lee Gold
