[net.video] Monitors with MTS decoders and RGB input

Now that I've hooked my VCR up to my stereo system and have rented some hifi
tapes, my 9" color portable is looking very shabby. So, I started looking for
a new tv. Ideally, it would have RGB input so I can use it as a color monitor
for an IBM PC/AT or Amiga, as well as an MTS/SAP decoder. I'd like a 19"-25"
picture. There are monitor/receivers in that price range that I've look at but
I was ruined after seeing an NAD monitor that was outstanding. In particular,
the black level retention was truly superior (to the SONY XBR right next to it
with both being fed a signal direct from a Pioneer laser disc player). Two
problems with the NAD though. First, it does not offer an RGB connection and
second, it is much more expensive than other similar 20" units from Mitsubishi,
Panasonic, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for a lower cost alternative
that matches the NAD or any enlightening comments on the capabilities of these
systems as RGB monitors? (Is RGB input a marginally useful addition?)
