[net.video] Scrambling & Unscrambling

Hello,

I am writing an article about the ways different cable companies scramble
the TV signals and how they, as well as other companies and individuals,
sometimes illegally, decode them into meaningful signals.

I would like references to texts or periodicals, which can explain in
detail all relevant concepts such as the techniques of scrambling and 
unscrambling, the meaning of channel 3, etc.  I would also appreciate
the names of publications that publish related schematic diagrams.
