Pioneer's ad in the front inside cover of the Feb. '86 issue of Video describes their 25" monitor as having an "exceptional bandwidth of 5.0 MHz" is this really exceptional? They also go on to say that this yields "400 horizontal lines and 450 vertical lines of video resolution." Why should they be proud of this?? Don't most Sony monitors (XBR, KV1311CR, PVM1271Q, etc. etc.) have 640x400 lines of resolution??? Side note: I saw a CLD900 LV played through one of these and it looked great. Maybe their "Red Phosphor CRT" really works because the reds I saw were VERY nice. -- {hplabs,amdahl,3comvax}!bnrmtv!zarifes --Ken Zarifes
