[net.video] two-head, hi-fi vcr's

hello!

i'm jumping into the 2-head, hi-fi vcr market with both feet and i'd like to
ask the network readers a question or two on specific models of 2-head,
hi-fi vcr's.

are there any mixed feelings/blessings/praises and/or regrets about the
following models?  what should i be most concerned with when considering
these units?

                         -- GENERAL ELECTRIC 6013 --

                           -- PANASONIC  PV 1442 --

                              -- RCA VLT 600 --

                              -- HITACHI VT86 --

i'm swayed more toward the hitachi that has the reputation and a two-year
parts and standard 90-day warranty and the panasonic for its name and
features.

i would appreciate hearing from you.

oh, and if there's anyone who is interested in these machines (or who is in
the same market for a two head hi-fi unit) and wants to know more about
them, i'd be happy to share with you what i've learned.  feel free to drop
a line.
