Here are the results of the APL survey that I sent out earlier: Most respondents said that they were using Purdue APL, and that it was *much* better than the APL that came on the Berkeley tape. However, I have been told that the 4.2 version of Berkeley UNIX will come with the Purdue APL on it (hooray). One unix user reported that he used APL on a Honeywell 6066. Two others reported using APL.68000 running on a PIXEL machine with a unix-like operating system. -- Lee Dickey, University of Waterloo. Here follows a summary of the results of the APL survey conducted during late August and early September, 1984. The questions were "What APL Hardware OS do you use?" Eleven people responded, giving information about at least 21 different systems. Each respondent is identified by a path relative to "watmath".
