I have a copy of the APL\11 that came with 4.2BSD and it flatly doesn't run on big-endian machines. I fixed enough places to get it to add 2 and 2 but never got to making variables work. There are just too many byte-order dependencies. I haven't figured out the character set either. If you have something that halfway works I'd be interested in trading versions...
