Apparently the autumn migration is early this year. I say apparently because I haven't been birding much lately--all I know is what I have read in our local newspapers (these are the same newspapers that announce the arrival of spring on the basis of seeing a wintering robin in February). Has anyone noticed that in fact birds are moving through earlier this year? Has anyone seen or heard of a bird identifcation program written in either BASIC or Z80 code?
