[net.rec.birds] Starlings in my owl house! in Oct?

  I cleaned out my screech owl houses ( that produced two broods of 
starlings last year) in preparation for (hopefully) screech owls in
Feb.  To my surprise Starlings the next day threw out all the nesting
material!
  Any ideas.  SHould I close the houses till Jan and try again.
