What has happened to all the birdwatchers?
It is now fall and it is getting to be the
best time to see all those great birds!
I have not heard from any of you for a long, long time.

I just got back from vacation out West and I added
a few birds to my "life" list. They were:

    Mountain Bluebird
    Blackbilled Magpie
    Clark's Nutcracker
    Steller's Jay
    Gray Jay
    Green Tailed Towhee
    Mountain Chickadee

I also saw some other birds that were previously
on my list:

    Lots of red-tailed hawks
    Lots of Canada geese
    White-breasted Nuthatch
    Great Blue Herons
    Great Horned Owl
    Sandhill Cranes

During this trip, I went to Denver, Rocky Mtn National Park,
Mesa Verde, and Grand Canyon. Even though it does not really
interest birdwatchers, I also saw some animals (I am also an
animal lover!!).

    Lots of deer
    Prairie Dogs
    Elk
    Beavers

I also saw FIVE RAINBOWS!!!

Let's get some birdwatching news going....Hurry!!
