My conure (small parrot) must have damaged a main flight feather last week. He got rid of the bent feather by snipping it off. Now there is a stump hidden in his right wing and looks like it won't be going anywhere soon. If anyone has heard of these things not coming out or any other quill problem, please let me know. I get concerned because I know of a Hiacynth Macaw that has a continual ingrown pinfeather problem -- she lets it get pretty bad before she lets anyone know. thanks Gary (hplabs,allegra,ihnp4)oliveb!olivee!gnome
