If you are interested in receiving some or all articles from the
collection mentioned in the appended ad, please send me mail.
I'll be away until Sunday June 30 and will begin to reply then.

Also, if you would like to know about an ** Alternative News BBS **
which is about to go up in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, let me know.
It will run listserver database software and subscribe to many Usenet
newsgroups and mailing lists. If you're working on a similar project
and might be interested in an alliance, let me know.

The Waterloo Public Interest Research Group (WPIRG) is collecting and
distributing articles relating to the mass media, and topics not covered
by them. They are from the computer newsgroups and mailing lists of a

Although many people have access to computer resources required to gather
these reports, few have the time to find them among thousands of lesser value.
We would like to make them available to everyone, including those without
Usenet access. To receive our title index, and an article or group of
articles, send electronic mail having the subject line, `INFO REQUEST'
followed by a description of what you'd like to WPIRG's email address, given
below. Alternatively, send your request to our regular or inter-campus mail
address, stating floppy disk size (3 1/2" or 5 1/4") and capacity (low or
high density). Include with any floppy disk request your return address and
a $4 cheque (covering postage, floppy mailer and disk cost) made payable to
WPIRG. We regret not being able to send printed reports due to the high cost
of paper and postage and that only IBM format disks are available because of
limited resources. Please contact us at either of the following addresses:
