I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had experience with implementing IEEE 1149.1 Boundary-Scan testing. I have been reviewing the literature for the last year and am planning to do some hands-on evaluation in the near future. I am mainly interested in the test equipment aspects of implementing Boundary-Scan as well as how to influence corporate management to commit to using it in new designs. Has anyone had experience with any of the the PC-based Boundary-Scan boards (e.g. TI ASSET)? Do anyone have any suggestions on how to sell Boundary-Scan to management?
