Yes, we've seen the male feeding the female at our house too, only with stale bread or popped corn. (It's enough to give you a case of the warm fuzzies!) The female stood on the porch or on the ground while the male brought her the corn. When he flew away, she helped herself. We got to feed six canada goslings and two canada geese last weekend. They swam to within ten feet of us. Isn't such trust unusual in a canada? BTW: Starlings like stale garlic bread.
