Do you _really_ believe that it is appropriate for a SysAdmin to "mail-fry" anyone, for whatever reason? With authority comes responsibility: SysAdmins have a _greater_ responsibility to behave with decorum than the average user. It's attitudes and actions like the above that prompts "twerps" to complain about their local administrators. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "They were there." - amateur photographer George Holliday, when asked why he did not call the police as he filmed the beating of Rodney King by L.A. police officers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not too get you guys off the subject, but there are a lot of us out here who are sys admins for industries, and this forum looks (looked?) like it could be interesting. I realize that there are a lot of educational facilities out there, but lets not single out students (and university administrators) as the only ones who read these here newgroups..... -- Jon Alperin Bell Communications Research ---> Internet: jona@iscp.bellcore.com ---> Voicenet: (908) 699-8674 ---> UUNET: uunet!bcr!jona * All opinions and stupid questions are my own *
