Based on recent discussions about Hyperdisk in this newsgroup, I got a copy (v4.21) and have been experimenting with it. When I run SI from the Norton Utilities (v5.0), with Hyperdisk active, the disk benchmark terminates abnormally (actually all of SI terminates) without printing any results. Occasionally when the benchmark does report results, they are about 1/2 the value I get using SMARTDRIVE (from Win 3.0). Has anyone else experienced this behavior? My configuration is a 384kB cache, with hyperdisk's verify on and not using staged writes. This behavior was noted on both a Dell 316LT and CompuAdd 316 both wiht DOS 4.01 and QEMM 5.12.
