[comp.os.msdos.desqview] DV on Compaq potrtable w InBoard386PC?

I'm trying to run Desqview 386 on an original Compaq portable (circa 1986)
with an Inboard 386 PC with 3 MB of extended memory.  I am using DV 2.32 
and QEMM 5.12, I've tried to use an empty CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT
to rule out TSR conflicts.
