[comp.os.msdos.desqview] GNU Make 3.58

jameson@jade.uucp (Kevin Jameson) (06/13/91)

Does anyone use the port of GNU make v3.58 under desqview? It swaps
itself out to execute commands, and has the option of swapping to
disk, to expanded memory, or to extended memory. All three work fine
under qemm5.12, outside of dv 2.32, but only disk swapping works if
dv *IS* enabled. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, it swaps to the hard disk, not the ram disk, so I really
would like to get it working.

Just a guess, but check to make sure the window you run make from has
enough expanded memory allocated (advanced options screen of CP).
