[comp.os.msdos.desqview] Running Windows and a Windows Compiler

ferris@gradient.cis.upenn.edu (Richard T. Ferris) (06/19/91)

I have just gottent the Borland C++ compiler and Desqview 386/QEMM. I
was wondering whether people who develop windows appliations and want
to be able to quickly switch into Windows to test them find it easier
to run their compiler inside Windows or to run each as a seperate
window under Desqview.

Not being an expert on BC++,Desqview or Windows, I am not sure of all
the different "mode" implications and thus the answer to my question
may depend on the mode I run in. I have a 486 with 8 megs of ram so I
have some room to work with.

Thanks.
