[net.rec.birds] hummers

katy@dicomed.UUCP (Kathleen Cornelson) (08/21/85)

Within days after posting my question about hummingbirds staying
in the Twin Cities over the summer, a hummingbird appeared at my
feeder, so I guess the do stick around. Unfortunately, the very
next day some neighbor children started construction on a tree
house complex consisting of half a dozen treehouses. Virtually
every tree surrounding my townhouse has been affected, and the
branch holding my hummingbird feeder was broken.

To the person who has to contend with an insomniac mockingbird:

               Wanna trade?
