I have just moved from a ground level apartment where me and my trusty feeder supplied food to the local bird population (I think mostly sparrows, a pair of cardinals, and some morning doves. I could just put food out on the ground or in my feeder and in short order (days at most) many happy birds and two happy apartment dwellers. Alas now I live in a MUCH nicer 3rd floor apt. with a nice balcony and no birds. Oh there there alright on the parking lot below, lots of them, in the trees 50 feet away lots of them including cardinals. But at my feeder none. Can any one help me coax them over? much obliged david schuh !uwvax!geowhiz!schuh
