Has any in other person in this group been to Glacier Nattiional Park ionn Northern Montana induring the salmon mirun up McdDonald Creek? This occurs in October and attracts large numbers of Bald Eagles. This is truly a sight that is unforgettaqble!!!! When I lived in Great Falls, MT in 1983, I spent a few days there in very late October. From a small brigdedge crossing the creek, there were at least 40 individual birds within 250 feet. They ;werewere in various stages of eating, digesting and just plain solcializing. The immature birds were quite funny. They were rarledly able ;toto pick off a fish on the wing. Mostily they argued and spared over the scraps left by the more skiilled adults. During the drive to the park, one is inclined to see mayny Harrier, Swainson and Rough=-Legged Hawk. American Kestral aree as common as starlings also. Anyways, I am primarily interested in Raptors. Are there anyother other folks out there who are into Raptors!?? Mark Wm. Charlews Evergreen, CO
