The tool that will be used for taking postings from c.b.a and extracting the original data is !Extract. The following five postings should be used to provide you with a working copy of !Extract, and it's working directory !SubExtWrk. If you want to submit material to c.b.a, you can either use !Spark, or !Submit (which can be found in a later posting). If you have a UN*X box, all you need to do to extract the original data is uudecode the articles which go to make up a contribution, then decompress it then finally extract the files using tar. If all this sounds like hard work, a script has been prepared and this will be posted on comp.sources.acorn.
