A while back, there was a posting to the mailing list requesting information regarding any improvements to the StringBrowser class to allow it to have more than 10,000 entries, (actually the problem is a hardcoded value in the TextDisplay class) but I don't remember seeing any responses to it. Unfortunately I find that this may be a potential problem for a project I am working on. Has anyone out there come up with a quick fix other than changing the hardcoded value in TextDisplay. Even better than this, has anyone out there made a "StringBrowser" that only needs to have a copy of a small portion of the total number of strings in the StringBrowser object. The StringBrowser would then be able to dynamically update this "working set" depending on the Perspective manipulation of StringBrowser. (We may have some very large lists which are stored in another object and are trying to reduce the duplication of data/ memory requirements). Thanks for any and all help, Now back to our regularly scheduled programming :-) -- Curt Kohler (513) 865-1106 Mead Data Central DTS Fabrication Development P.O.
