[comp.windows.interviews] InterViews and BORLAND C++ /IBM-PC

lueth@ira.uka.de (Tim Lueth) (05/09/91)

Dear Sirs,
at our institute we have made a lot of experiences with the
famous classlibrary InterViews.
Now we are forced to implement some software for IBM/PC and
WINDOWS 3.0 with the BORLAND C++ Compiler.
Do you know, if an implemented version of InterViews exists
for the BORLAND C++ and how we could get and use it ?
Please answer this question, because we are going to
implement it.
Your sincerely

This is the third or fourth such query. It seems alot to ask the already
overworked InterViews folks to support so many different environments..
but a public domain version of the XVT tools incorporating the InterViews
Unidraw Domain Editor would, I think, be a tremendous thing to have. I was
thinking of suggesting this as an IR&D project for our organization.
I would love to be able to write one Unidraw/InterViews program which would
then work in the NeXT environment, the X environment, the ughh Windows 3.0
environment, and the always excellent but difficult-to-program-in MacIntosh
environment.
