[comp.windows.interviews] ibuild bug and documentation problem

robinson@akira.enet.dec.com (Willard J. Robinson) (05/08/91)

First the 'bug' - when you relate one object to another - if you
move to pointer over the target and hit the right mouse button
a 'garbage' menu pops up and most of the time causes ibuild
to crash.

Second - is there a new ibuild doc? - I have one from Jan '91
and in Chapter 5 (Advanced Features) - it talkes about creating
another view of a sub-object of an interface - however when
I do an EXAMINE on part of the interface I DO NOT get the
'VIEW' entry in the pop-up menu (first line step 2 page 1 of
chapter 5).
So my question is - 'is the documentation outdated/old or
am I doing something incorrectly?'

thanks

Yes your document is outdated, you should ftp the latest ibuild
document. The 'View' facility has been replaced by 'Narrow' which
allows you to edit parts of the interface in the same editor.
