[net.rec.birds] Grackles Dive Bombing and fake owls

On a satelite dish here at Boeing, they have placed a fake owl.  This
worked for a year or two, now it provides a convenient perch for the
birds it is supposed to be frightening.  It is a little disconcerting
to see a pair of starlings sitting on the Great-Horned's "horns" !
