[comp.windows.interviews] unidraw-doc

oaf%pluto%vmsfo.UUCP@NAC.NO (Ole Asbjorn Fadum) (05/21/91)

Hi

I've finally managed to get a paper copy of ud-doc2.ps. I've
encountered some problems,
1. the command 'lettertray' cause the print to be aborted on our
system, so I just removed it.
2. some strange error messages disappeared when I've got more RAM in
my printer (go from 1Mb to 2Mb).

emacs doesn't like files on 12Mb or so, so to be able to implement
fix1 i've had to split the original file up, with breakps.

This is apparently an early and incomplete version of my thesis, which
describes Unidraw from a conceptual standpoint. It also describes the
design and implementation of three experimental applications (drawing,
ui, and schem) in some detail. Those interested in a hardcopy version
of the thesis should contact Naomi Schulman, the secretary that
handles Computer Systems Laboratory technical reports. Her e-mail
address is schulman@shasta.stanford.edu. I believe the price is $16 a
copy. Ask for a copy of technical report CSL-TR-90-427.
