[comp.windows.interviews] Help with installing Interviews 2.6

I am trying to install Interviews 2.6 with g++ 1.39. I get
the following message after running "make World":

   CC: can not execute cc1plus.

What does it mean?
How can I fix this problem?

Any help will be appreciated.
