[comp.windows.interviews] grips in iv2.6?

trip@plato.cs.wisc.edu (Trip Lazarus) (06/15/91)

Here's a potenially naive question for you InterViewers...

Has anyone implemented a "grip" in InterViews 2.6?

What do I mean by a "grip"? A grip is a handle (usually a small solid
black box) positioned on a line which divides a window into two segments
(panes). The grip is used to interactively decide how much of the window
real estate goes into each pane. This is done by clicking and dragging
the grip. Examples of grips can be seen in xman, xdbx, xmh, etc.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has actually implemented such
a beast, or from anyone with ideas on how to do it.

Thanks very much,
